A new source for anything and everything related to the annual NHL Entry Draft

I love hockey. I always have, and I’m sure I always will. Either way, I knew it wasn’t the game itself I had begun losing interest in. It was the National Hockey League. The NHL, the highest-level league attainable within the sport, had gradually become so commercialized and wrapped up in fake social posturing that I could no longer stand it anymore. Like I said, though, it wasn’t the game itself I had become disenfranchised with. It was the NHL. The only real solution was for me to separate the two and find enjoyable and competitive hockey to obsess over from somewhere else.

That’s when junior hockey, and the idea to create a blog site specifically geared towards covering the top draft prospects, came into play for me. With the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) now offering a CHL TV subscription that would allow you to view every single regular season game from every single team in each of the three main major junior leagues in Canada (the WHL, OHL, and QMJHL), in-game scouting of the top NHL draft prospects would be much easier to accomplish for even amateur armchair analysts such as myself.

So here we are. Welcome to The Draft Report, an independent source for anything and everything NHL draft related. I will be publishing consistently updated draft rankings (my rankings), prospect profiles, scouting reports (my scouting reports), and various other pieces of interest and information. Go ahead, take a look around. I truly hope the obsessive hockey nerd inside of you will be satisfied, if only for a little while.
